Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 May 2026

London Studios ("we", "us") operates the Scenario Manager Dashboard ("the Service"), a community site for browsing and sharing Scenario Manager scenario files for FiveM. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account information: When you sign in with Discord or Google, we receive your provider account identifier, display name, and email address (as made available by the provider) through our authentication provider, Appwrite.
  • Profile information: Username and optional profile picture you choose on the Service.
  • Uploaded content: Scenario JSON files, titles, descriptions, tags, and related metadata you submit for moderation and publication.
  • Usage data: Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and request logs needed to operate and secure the Service. Anonymous vote identifiers stored in cookies may be used for scenario upvotes and downvotes without requiring an account.
  • AI moderation records: When automated review is enabled, we store the results of AI-assisted checks on your uploads (for example safety assessment, confidence score, category labels, flags, and a short summary). These records may be visible to administrators in the moderation queue.

Automated moderation and AI

When AI moderation is configured on the Service, we use Google's Gemini model (currently Gemini 2.5 Flash) to help review scenario uploads. AI is used only in connection with uploads and moderation — not for sign-in, browsing, voting, or downloads.

What we send

For each upload under review, we send your display name, the scenario title and description (if any), and a truncated portion of the scenario JSON file (up to roughly 8,000 characters) to Google's API for analysis. We do not send your email address, OAuth identifiers, or profile picture to the AI provider.

What the AI does

  • Screen content for policy issues such as spam, scams, hate speech, harassment, slurs, NSFW material, or harmful instructions.
  • Produce a short moderation summary and structured signals (for example safety, confidence, categories, and flags) that we store with the scenario.
  • If you left the public description empty, suggest a brief factual catalog description derived only from metadata in the JSON — we do not replace descriptions you already provided.

Automated decisions and human review

The AI may recommend that content is unsafe, but we do not automatically reject uploads based on AI output alone — a human administrator can still approve or reject pending items. In hybrid or automatic moderation modes, uploads may be automatically approved when the AI assesses them as safe with high confidence; otherwise they remain pending until reviewed. Administrators may re-run AI review or decide outcomes manually.

If AI moderation is unavailable (for example when no API key is configured or the service errors), uploads are queued for manual review instead.

Your rights regarding automated processing

If you are in the UK or EEA and automated processing significantly affects you, you may contact us to request human review of a moderation decision, express your point of view, or contest an outcome, subject to applicable law. This does not limit your right to delete uploads or your account as described below.

How we use information

  • Provide sign-in, profile management, uploads, downloads, and moderation.
  • Display your username and avatar as the author on scenarios you publish.
  • Review uploads for policy compliance before they appear in Browse.
  • Run AI-assisted safety screening and, where appropriate, generate a basic catalog description for uploads that lack one.
  • Protect the Service against abuse, spam, and security incidents.
  • Improve reliability and fix errors.

Legal bases (where applicable)

If you are in the UK or EEA, we process personal data on the basis of contract (providing the Service you request), legitimate interests (security, moderation including AI-assisted review, and improvement), and consent where required (for example, optional profile choices). Automated moderation relies on legitimate interests in keeping the community catalog safe; you may object to processing where applicable law gives you that right.

Sharing and processors

We use Appwrite to host authentication, databases, and file storage. OAuth sign-in is handled by Discord and/or Google according to their own privacy policies. When AI moderation is enabled, upload review data is processed by Google via the Gemini API; Google's processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and applicable API terms. We send data to Google only to perform inference for moderation and description assistance — we do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploads to train our own models.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.

Retention

We keep account and profile data while your account is active. Uploaded scenarios remain stored until you delete them or delete your account, including any AI moderation records stored with those scenarios. Server logs are retained for a limited period needed for security and operations.

Your choices

  • You may update your username and profile picture from My scenarios.
  • You may delete individual scenarios you uploaded from My scenarios at any time.
  • You may delete your account from My scenarios, which permanently removes your profile, avatar, and all scenarios you uploaded.
  • Downloads and browsing do not require an account; you can clear cookies in your browser to reset anonymous vote identifiers.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International transfers

Data may be processed in countries where our hosting providers operate. We take reasonable steps to protect data in line with this policy.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
